2020 House and acrylic paint on three wood panels, 8x10 feet.
Made for the exhibition “Keith Haring: Radiant Gambit” at the World Chess Hall of Fame Museum located in St. Louis.
The inspiration behind Flesh & Fire (Chess in Hell) came from two of my favorite Haring works, “Once Upon a Time” and “Untitled, 1984”. Essentially I combined elements from these two works to formulate my own visual response to a certain aspect of Haring's work.
2020 Graphite, ink and acrylic on paper, 11x14 inches
